Usage of the Plugin

This plugin is used in Confluence to create custom Tooltips on pages.

Once the plugin is installed correctly it will be enabled for the whole system and visible for every user. 


Adding your first Tooltip to your Page 

Once you have created a new Page you can easily add a Tooltip to it. 

  1. Click on "Insert more content"

    2. Click on Open in the macro browser

  2. Search for "Tooltip" in the search field





    4. Select the Plugin to open the "Insert "Tooltip" Macro" Window

You have the following options to set up and customize your Macro:

  • Link Text 
  • Display Icon only
  • Bold Link Text
  • Show on PDF
  • Color
  • Underline
  • Underline Color
  • Link URL
  • Open in New Window 
  • Spaces
  • Select Icon
  • Icon Color
  • Background Color (Pro only)
  • Width                    (Pro only)
  • Animation             (Pro only) 

Link text 

This is the text that is shown before you hover over it and see the tooltip.


Link text color 

Feel free to change the color of the link text. 


Underline Color

You can check "Underline the link text" and enter a color in "Underline color".


Append an icon 

You can add an icon to your link text.

  1. Select Choose Icon
  2. Select a Icon in the Pop-up Window
  3. Press Choose



Color of the icon 

You can change the color of the icon.


Tooltip style 

Change the style of the tooltip to your likings. Red and White is currently available.


Tooltip width

You can customize the tooltip width.

Linebreak after Tooltip

You can choose if a tooltip should be rendered on a new line.

Verwendung des Plugins 

Dieses Plugin wird in Confluence verwendet um benutzerdefinierte Kurzinfo-Meldungen in Seiten hinzuzufügen.

Nach der Installation ist dieses Plugin systemweit für jeden Benutzer sichtbar und nutzbar.

Das Hinzufügen eines Tooltips

Sobald eine neue Seite in Confluence erstellt wurde, kann ein Tooltip hinzugefügt werden.

  1. Über die "Weiteren Inhalt einfügen" Schaltfläche kann die Macro-Schnellansicht geöffnet werden. 

    2. Über die Schaltfläche "Andere Makros" kann der Makrobrowser geöffnet werden. 

  2. Durch das Suchen in der Suchleiste nach "Tooltip" in dem Suchfeld wird das Plug-in angezeigt.




     4. Plugin auswählen um das "Insert "Tooltip" Makro" Fenster zu öffnen.

Es gibt folgende möglichkeiten das Tooltip zu gestalten.

  • Link Text
  • Nur Symbol anzeigen
  • Fetter Link-Text
  • Im PDF anzeigen
  • Farbe
  • Unterstreichen
  • Unterstreichungsfarbe
  • Link-URL
  • In neuem Fenster öffnen
  • Spaces
  • Symbol auswählen
  • Symbolfarbe
  • Hintergrundfarbe (nur Pro)
  • Breite                    (nur Pro)
  • Animation             (nur Pro)

Link-Text 

Dieser Text wird auf der Seite angezeigt bevor die Maus über den Text gehalten wird.

Die Farbe des Textes kann hier angepasst werden. 


Farbe des Unterstrichs

Es kann "Link Text unterstreichen (gepunktet)" ausgewählt werden, um den Text zu unterstreichen.


Icon hinzufügen

Ein Symbol kann zu dem Text hinzugefügt werden.

  1. Auswahl Icon Auswählen
  2. Auswahl des Icons
  3. Speichern mit Button Auswahl


Farbe des Icons 

Die Farbe des Symbols kann angepasst werden. 

Tooltip Stil 

Der Stil des Tooltips kann hier angepasst werden. Rot und Weiß sind momentan verfügbar.


Breite des Tooltips

Die Breite des Tooltips kann hier angepasst werden. 


Zeilenumbruch nach Tooltip

Sie können wählen ob der Tooltip in einer neuen Zeile dargestellt werden soll.
