The blogpost macro allows you to collect and display blogposts in a central customizable overview using the label feature of confluence.
Setting up a simple blogpost
1. First, you have to create a main page, on which you want to display your blogpost/blogposts.
2. Add a blogpost macro to the main page.
3. Configure the blogpost macro.

labels | Determines the label group to which the displayed blogposts have to belong to. All pages that have this label and contain an excerpt will be displayed here. (If the amount of existing pages is higher than the amount of "maxelements", only the first pages will be taken. ****** |
datefieldstyle | Determines the background color of the date field. |

For this example, we will use the following settings: height: 500; width: 900; maxelements: 1; list: yes; showlabels: yes; showshotdesc: yes; showspace: yes; labels: exampleBlogPost. The other settings were left at the default settings.
4. Create another page for the blogpost content
5. Add an "Excerpt" macro to the page.
6. Add content to the excerpt
