General

The blogpost macro allows you to collect and display blogposts in a central customizable overview using the label feature of confluence.

Setting up a simple blogpost


1. First, you have to create a main page, on which you want to display your blogpost/blogposts.

2. Add a blogpost macro to the main page.

3. Configure the blogpost macro.

heightDetermines the height of the height of the listed blogposts. (number)
widthDetermines the width of the blogpost/blogposts. (number)
maxelementsDetermines the maximum amount of displayed blogposts. (number)
list-
showlabelsIf checked: Displays the labels entered into the labels field on the blogpost.
showshortdescIf checked:
showspaceIf checked: Displays the space of the target page on the blogpost.
labelsDetermines the label group to which the displayed blogposts have to belong to. All pages that have this label and contain an excerpt will be displayed here. (If the amount of existing pages is higher than the amount of "maxelements", only the first pages will be taken. ******
datefieldstyleDetermines the background color of the date field.
bigtitlefieldstyleDetermines the background color of the title field.

descriptionfieldstyle

Determines the background color of the description field.
opacityDetermines the opacity of the blogposts. *******

For this example, we will use the following settings: height: 500; width: 900; maxelements: 1; list: yes; showlabels: yes; showshotdesc: yes; showspace: yes; labels: exampleBlogPost. The other settings were left at the default settings.

4. Create another page for the blogpost content

5. Add an "Excerpt" macro to the page.

6. Add content to the excerpt
